Made from quick-drying, breathable material, the shirt is extremely comfortable to wear - even on hot days. Size information: The UV shirt is true to size. Choose your child's usual size.
👉🏼 Please note: UV shirts should not be bought too large. The fabric should not be too loose, otherwise air bubbles may form when swimming or the shirt may slip, which means that UV protection is no longer optimally guaranteed. It is therefore better to choose the child's current size and not to buy too large - this way, the protection is optimally maintained!
UV STANDARD 801
The UV STANDARD 801 is one of the strictest test marks for UV-protective textiles. It indicates how well a fabric protects against UV radiation - under real-life conditions.
- Real protection in everyday life - the material is tested when stretched, damp and washed to ensure that the UV protection is not only valid when new.
- Higher safety than other standards - While other test standards (e.g. UPF according to AS/NZS or EN 13758-1) only evaluate the dry, new fabric, the UV STANDARD 801 also takes into account factors such as stretching, moisture and ageing of the material.
- UPF value with high safety - The measured UV protection factor (e.g. UPF 50+) guarantees that less than 1/50 of the UV radiation reaches the skin.
